Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Refund Policy General Approach LATE START understands that life, work, family, health, and confidence can all affect scheduling. This policy exists simply to help sessions run fairly and smoothly for everybody. 1. Cancellations by Clients Clients are asked to provide as much notice as possible if cancelling or rescheduling a session. Where reasonable: Sessions may be moved to another available time Short-notice cancellations may result in loss of the booking Missed sessions without notice may not be refundable 2. Cancellations by LATE START If LATE START needs to cancel a session: A replacement session time will usually be offered Any prepaid session affected may be refunded or credited 3. Refunds Refund decisions are made reasonably and in good faith. Refunds may not be available for: Completed sessions Missed appointments without notice Change-of-mind after services have already been delivered Nothing in this policy overrides rights available under New Zealand consumer law. 4. Packages & Prepaid Sessions Where lesson packages or prepaid sessions are offered: Sessions should generally be used within a reasonable timeframe Unused sessions may expire if left inactive for an extended period Exceptions may be considered for illness or special circumstances 5. Late Arrivals Late arrival may reduce available session time. Sessions will usually still finish at the scheduled time unless otherwise agreed. 6. Contact Cancellation or refund requests should be made through the LATE START website contact page as soon as possible.
